Hiring - SAP Data Engineer - 100% Remote (Working in MST), United States

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Role: SAP Data Engineer.

Job Type/Type of Hire: W2 Contract.

Job Location: 100% Remote, United States, but with MST work hours.

Duration: 6 Months.

- Candidates must have:

• Hana 2.0.

• WEB IDE.

• Development of Hana Calculation Views.

- Nice to have:

• Bitbucket.

• SAP Data Services.

• Our customer needs a senior data engineer who has expertise with Native HANA modeling. The consultant MUST have experience with HANA 2.0 (released in late 2016) - experience with HANA 1.0 will not work. This would start as a 6-month contract with the possibility of an extension. The engineer will develop models in Native HANA and assist with the real-time replication of data from the SAP S/4 source system to the HANA database.

- Required skills include:

1) Experience with HANA 2.0.

2) Extremely strong data modeling skills utilizing Native HANA and all of its toolsets.

3) Strong experience with WebIDE and HANA SQL functions knowledge (with ability to write queries).

4) Ability to do development of HANA Calculation Views.

5) Ability to work very independently, take ownership and responsibility for individual projects.

6) Functional understanding of the SAP order-to-cash and finance processes would be a plus.
