JOB DESCRIPTION 

Job Role: DevOps Engineer. 

Job Type/Type of Hire: W2 Contract. 

Job Location: Remote within the United States, but need to be Onsite @ O’Fallon, MO, United States once in a quarter for onsite meeting. 

Duration: 52 Weeks. 

- Required Skills: 

Frameworks: DevOps, Agile, Scrums. 

Configuration Management: Ansible, Chef, Terraform, Git, Groovy (Jenkins Pipelines), Python & Shell scripting. 

Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace. 

Infra & Cloud: Azure, GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Service Mesh (Istiod, Envoy), Openshift, Docker – Any single cloud knowledge. 

Soft Skills: Solution Consulting, Executive Briefing, Learnability. - Position Description:

- Job Description: 

The Automation Frameworks team in leading the DevOps transformation by developing automation tooling and driving standards throughout the develo pment, quality, release, and product organizations. 

Our team members have an appetite for change and pushing the boundari es of what can be done with automation. We are responsible for automati on standards, maintaining industry standard tools such as Chef, Jenkins, an d Ansible, and working closely with other departments supporting BitBucket git, Sonar, Artifactory, Terraform, and more. 

- ROLE: 

Own complex problems having dependency across services and facilitate cro ss-functional team interactions to drive resolution. 

Define, design, and develop procedures and solutions at a service level to meet the business requirements/enhancements. 

Automate and simplify all aspects of software delivery and development by actively evangelizing the need to automate and simplify where needed. 

Introduce new technologies and architecture by following enterprise guidelin es. 

Provide development and architecture guidance to team members. 

- Desired/Nice to have technical skills: 

Security: ISO - 27001, Threat Modelling, NSA - Zero Trust Model, Risk /Thr eat Analysis, Container Scans, Gemalto HSM (Hardware Security Module) for PKI, Hashicorp Vault, Splunk. Implementation of ISO, NIST, CSA, and CIS bes t practices, and Cert management. 

Database: MySQL DB, Liquibase, Oracle, LDAP, Cassandra, PL/SQL. 

Load Balancers / Middleware/ Stream Processing: Nginx, HAproxy, Redis, Kafka.
