Hiring - Business Objects Developer - 100% Remote, United States

Job Role: Business Objects Developer.

Job Type/Type of Hire: W2 Contract.

Job Location: 100% Remote, United States.

Duration: 6 Months+.

- Description:

• SAP Business Objects Resource.

• Deep knowledge of Fixed Income/Bond investing and the various data sets involved, including Security Master/SMF, Holdings, Market, Cash and Transactions.

• Familiarity with State Street’s PAM/ePAM/PFI would be ideal.

• Mastery of SAP Business Objects Reporting, including more advanced parts such as:

• Report-level Formulas and Variables.

• Complex report structures with multiple blocks of data, table breaks, etc.

• Report and block-level filtering.

• Multiple Universes and data joins.

• Drilling, Formatting, Tables & Charts.

• Report Scheduling.

• Ongoing work will be to update existing reports that will change as we change accounting systems from Maximis to ePAM.

• 6 month contract (potentially more), remote work (within US) is fine.

- Specific skill set needed: 

• SAP Business Objects expertise.

• Knowledge of transitioning from old system to EPAM State Street product.

• Required to work with hundreds of reports and data from the data repository to the existing data warehouse.

• Ability to understand and work with different data formats and existing reports with block formatting.

• Proficiency in writing SQL-based formulas and variables at the report level.

• Deep expertise in SAP Business Objects, particularly with BOND data and fixed equity,

• Familiarity with different conventions used to make reports work systematically (e.g., Ex A for annual).

• Project is large and team already has expertise, but need assistance to get reports ready for go-live in January.

• Focus on critical and important reports, identify and exclude unused systems.
