Job Position: Java Developer

Software Developer Responsibilities:

·       Develop all day, every day with a focus on Java 8, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, ReactJS and JavaScript.

·       Design and create code within a test driven-development programming environment.

·       Work in a fast paced, collaborative team environment using agile methodology principles.

·       Act as a technical mentor and coach to less experienced developers.

·       Work with other teams (outside and across the company) to gather requirements, understand expectations and present solutions.

Software Developer Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree or relevant industry experience.

·       Knowledge of the software development life-cycle.

·       The desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

·       Ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications.

·       Must understand concepts of software engineering, performance/scaling, and secure coding practices.

·       Experience working on a variety of software development projects.

·       Object-oriented system design and development experience preferably with JAVA 8.

·       Experience working with open-source frameworks like Spring Batch, MVC and Spring Boot.

·       Prior web services development experience with SOAP and REST services.

·       Working experience with Telecommunications providers (Cellular preferred)
