Job Title: Software Tester

We are looking for a results-driven software tester to be responsible for designing and running tests on software functionality, usability, and performance. The software tester will conduct tests, analyze the results, and report observations to the team. You may also interact with other business stakeholders in order to, understand the requirements of the product, and review overall findings.

To be successful as a software tester, you should have a working knowledge of software and test design, the capability to run through tests, and the ability to analyze the results. Ultimately, the software tester should be result-driven, have good communication skills, and up-to-date knowledge of software programming and software test design.

Software Tester Responsibilities:

●      Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.

●      Executing tests on software usability.

●      Analyzing test results on solution impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.

●      Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the team.

●      Interacting with multiple stakeholders to understand product requirements, determine testing strategy & tactics, and to review results of testing efforts.

●      Collaborate with agile development and architecture teams to identify appropriate test solutions. Develop test automation that exercises all aspects of application code for UI, API services, and database validations.

●      Ability to write Test automation code.

Software Tester Requirements:

●      A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or relevant industry experience.

●      Up-to-date knowledge of software test design, testing methodologies, and toolsets for the following technologies: Java 8, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, ReactJS and Javascript.

●      Working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs.

●      Automation testing experience.

●      Expertise with one or more test automation frameworks.

●      Working knowledge of programming.

●      Applied knowledge of integrating automated tests with dev ops.

●      Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.

●      Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.

●      Working experience with Telecommunications providers (Cellular preferred)
