Job Title: Software Engineer - Java

 Our company is seeking to hire a skilled software engineer to help with the development of our current projects. Your duties will primarily revolve around building software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new environments, improve its performance & security, or upgrade interfaces. You will also be involved in directing system testing and validation procedures, and also working with multiple stakeholders on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.

Software Developer Responsibilities:

●       Develop all day, every day with a focus on Java 8, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, ReactJS and Javascript.

●       Design and create code within a test driven-development programming environment.

●       Work in a fast paced, collaborative team environment using agile methodology principles.

●       Act as a technical mentor and coach to less experienced developers.

●       Work with other teams (outside and across the company) to gather requirements, understand expectations and present solutions.

Software Developer Requirements:

●       Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree or relevant industry experience.

●       Knowledge of the software development life-cycle.

●       The desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

●       Ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications.

●       Must understand concepts of software engineering, performance/scaling, and secure coding practices.

●       Experience working on a variety of software development projects.

●       Object-oriented system design and development experience preferably with JAVA 8.

●       Experience working with open-source frameworks like Spring Batch, MVC and Spring Boot.

●       Prior web services development experience with SOAP and REST services.

●       Working experience with Telecommunications providers (Cellular preferred)
