Job Description

JOB DUTIES
 

• Perform design and programming activities for a large County of San Diego project.
• Upgrade ImageTrust jobs from older version of ImageTrust to newer versions, create new jobs based on specifications and modify existing jobs.
• Work closely with the system analysts and other developers to refine and clarify designs as needed during software development and implementation.
• Code and unit test ImageTrust jobs throughout the development lifecycle.
• Investigates and resolve defects where test outcomes do not match expected test results.
• Works with the technical and project teams through Software Development Lifecycle
• Supports existing Production ImageTrust implementations
   

Apply advanced subject matter knowledge to:
 

• Solve complex business problems within a team environment and is regarded as a subject matter expert representing ImageTrust product.
• Reads, interprets, and applies application specifications to ImageTrust product, identifying and resolving gaps through analysis and collaboration within a team.
• Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods.
• Works on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
• Communicates affectively with technical and non-technical peers at all levels.
• Supports existing solutions and implementations as well as new development efforts.
• Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
• Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies.
• Represents the organization to external customers/clients when necessary.
   

SKILLS

• Experience in development of Capture solutions such as Captiva or ImageTrust, or willingness to learn ImageTrust
• Experience delivering multiple, complex solutions within an Enterprise environment
• Extensive technical knowledge in the following specialized areas of web application system analysis and programming; Java, JavaScript, SQL, XML, Apache Velocity, HTML5, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and Web
  Services standards (SOAP and WSDL)
• Browser support experience in IE, Edge, and Chrome.
• Integrated development experience in Eclipse\NetBeans
• Experience with Tomcat Application Server
• Experience with Microsoft SQL and PostgreSQL
• Experience with data extraction (OCR, ICR, OMR) is desired.
• Extensive working experience in problem analysis and resolution determination of complex problems in an Enterprise environment
